Dr. H. Douglas Jin, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon who specializes in the medical and surgical management of complex retinal and vitreous conditions. His clinical expertise includes the treatment of retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, vitreous hemorrhage, and other advanced retinal disorders. Dr. Jin completed advanced fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the University of Iowa. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City and his transitional internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to medical school, Dr. Jin graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
